משרד התיירות חושף: תלונות חמורות על יחס בתי המלון כלפי מפונים

מכתב תקיף ששוגר אל בעלי המתקנים מצייר תמונה חמורה - מניעה של כניסה לשטחים ציבוריים ושימוש בחדר הכביסה, שינוי תכוף ופתאומי של זמני הארוחות ועוד. נראה כי יש מי שמתייחס אל האנשים שפונו מבתיהם בעקבות המלחמה כאל "אזרחים סוג ב'"

עם החזרה ההדרגתית לשגרה נראה כי גם ענף התיירות מתעורר, אך בבתי המלון ברחבי הארץ נמצאים לא רק תיירים מן הארץ ומחו"ל אלא גם ציבור גדול של מפונים מהצפון והדרום, שנכון לכרגע אינם יודעים מתי יוכלו לשוב לבתיהם. במשרד התיירות הצטברו מספר תלונות חמורות על הפלייה של מפונים בבתי מלון ברחבי הארץ בגישה לשירותים ולשטחים הציבוריים במקום בו הם גרים באופן זמני. נראה כי בחלק מבתי המלון מנסים הבעלים "להעזיב" את המפונים על מנת לפנות מקום לתיירים משלמים. 
בעקבות ריבוי התלונות שיגר משרד התיירות מכתב תקיף אל מנהלי בתי המלון עם תזכורות לא להפלות את המפונים השוהים במתקניהם. המכתב, שפורסם באתר ynet היום (חמישי), כולל תזכורת למפעילי בתי המלון בנוגע להסכם המחויבות הנחתם ביניהם לבין המדינה עם פרוץ המלחמה וקבלת המפונים. משרד התיירות התריע - אם לא יעמדו בהסכמים לא יקבלו את התשלום עבור שירותיהם.
כחלק מההסדר בין המדינה לבתי המלון, בתי המלון מחוייבים לתת למפונים גישה אל כל השטחים הציבוריים במלון בתעריך של 800 שקל לזוג ליום ו-200 שקל עבור כל ילד. למרות זאת, משרד התיירות ציין במכתבו, כי בתי מלון מסוימים מפלים את המפונים ומתייחסים אליהם כאזרחים סוג ב'. 
נראה כי חלק מבתי המלון מונעים מהמפונים גישה אל השטחים הציבוריים. חלק מהמתלוננים סיפרו כי בתי המלון מונעים מהם גישה אל חדרי הכביסה. תלונות נוספות נרשמו על שינוי תכוף של זמני הארוחות באופן פתאומי. מכתב זה מתווסף לסיפור המחריד על גניבת כסף מחדריהם של מפונים בבית מלון.
