טוויטר במגמת התרסקות? המניה צללה ב-25% בתוך שבוע

בזמן שעתיד עסקת אילון מאסק לרכישת טוויטר ממשיך להיות לא ברור, מניית הרשת החברתית ממשיכה להתרסק. היום (שני) היה היום השביעי בו מניית החברה נסגרה בירידה בבורסה. 
יום הירידה השביעי ברציפות של מניית טוויטר הסתכם בירידה של 5.4%, מה שמוביל לכך שהיא מאבדת כמעט רבע משוויה (23.5%).  כל זה מגיע על רקע הציוץ של מאסק בשישי האחרון כי עסקת הענק מושהית עד שיתברר אם שיעור החשבונות המזויפים ברשת החברתית אכן נמוך מ-5%, כפי שהחברה הצהירה באחרונה. 
כזכור, על פי הדיווח ברויטרס מתחילת החודש, לאחר שמאסק שעומד לרכוש את טוויטר תמורת 44 מיליארד דולר, אמר כי אחד מהדברים הראשונים שיעשה יהיה הסרת הבוטים וחשבונות הפייק מהרשת, פרסמה טוויטר כמה להערכתה ישנם כאלה. על פי הדו"ח של טוויטר, לה יש 229 מיליון חשבונות, ישנם קרוב ל-5% חשבונות ספאם שניתנים להערכה כמזוייפים.
לאחר הכתבה ברויטרס, אותה שיתף מאסק, צייץ האיש העשיר בעולם כי "עסקת טוויטר מוקפאת עד לפרטים שייאמתו כי אכן פחות מ-5% מהרשת הינם חשבונות מזוייפים או בוטים".
