עם לונה פארק: האטרקציה החדשה מעל הקניון באילת

עם מאות חדרים, לונה פארק מקורה, ואולם מולטימדיה - בית מלון חדש ושאפתני מתוכנן להיות מוקם מעל לקניון האייסמול באילת

הוועדה לנושאים תכנוניים עקרוניים (ולנת"ע) אישרה להפקדה בניית בית מלון חדש עם 350 חדרים מעל קניון אייסמול באילת. מי שעומד מאחורי התוכנית זו חברת "פארק הקרח" של איש העסקים משה ניסים. 
על פי הפרסום בדה מארקר, במסגרת התוכנית יהיה בית מלון בהיקף של כ- 20 אלף מ"ר ןשטחי מסחר בהיקף של כ- 7,200 מ"ר. כמו כן, צפויים להיות 520 מקומות חניה בבית מלון. 
כמו כן, על פי הפרסום, אטרקציות שונות יהיו בבית המלון כגון לונה פארק מקורה, רכבת הרים, בריכת שיחה לצד אקווריום, קיר טיפוס, אולם מולטימדיה עם מאות מושבים, והשיא- מסעדה מסתובבת גובה של 60 מטר. 
הלשכה המרכזית לסטטיסטיקה פרסמה את נתוני הפדיון של המלונות הארץ בשנת 2024 וחושפת נתונים מפתיעים. הנתונים מראים כי המלונאות בארץ בשנה האחרונה נסגרה על 13.5 מיליארד שקלים לעומת 14.2 מיליארד שקלים בשנת 2023 שאת רובה סיפור השנה הישראלים עם 90% לעומת 69% בשנת 2023.
חשוב לציין כי עם פרוץ המלחמה, ענף המלונאות בארץ נדרש להסתגל לשינויים משמעותיים. מלונות באזורי סיכון נסגרו. מלונות באזורים אחרים התבקשו לתת מענה לתוכנית הממשלתית של פינוי אזרחים מאזורי סיכון בדרום ובצפון, ולספק להם שירותי לינה ואירוח.
