לאחר האמירות של אבי כאכון על הקמת משפחה בגיל מאוחר, המגישה כתבה: "אני אמא טובה יותר היום משיכולתי להיות אז, ואני כאן לומר לכל הרווקות בנות ה-34, שלא תעזו להיפגע מהדבר הזה, וכבוגרת בית הספר הזה, אני מבטיחה לכן שתסיימו בהצטיינות"

ההתבטאויות השנויות במחלוקת שנשמעות בריאליטי הבישול של קשת 12, המטבח המנצח VIP, הגיעו גם אל מעיין אדם, שהגיבה לאמירה של אבי כאכון לאחר שדיבר על ההתנגדות שלו להקמת משפחה בגיל 35.
אדם כתבה בין היתר: "היי, אני מעיין ובגיל 35 הקמתי משפחה. אני מודה שבכל רגע שעבר, על כל ניסיון שצברתי, על כל מדרגה בקריירה שטיפסתי, על כל הבגרות שהביאו עימן השנים, על הסבלנות שפיתחתי, על כל שקל שחסכתי, על כמה שלמדתי, ראיתי ועשיתי".

היא המשיכה וכתבה בהתייחסות לכאכון: "אני אמא טובה יותר היום משיכולתי להיות אז, ואני כאן לומר לכל הרווקות בנות ה-34, שלא תעזו להפגע מהדבר הזה, וכבוגרת בית הספר הזה, אני מבטיחה לכן שתסייימו בהצטיינות".
כאכון כבר הסתבך בלא מעט אמירות בעייתיות בעונה הנוכחית של הריאליטי, כאשר טען כי אנה ארונוב היא "סיביר" וכן היה חלק מהשיחה מדוע היא לא מביאה ילד נוסף, דבר שגרם לה להעלות פוסט כואב מאוד כמה ימים לאחר מכן.
