הבוקר הכריזה יאהו ישראל על מינויו של ניתאי אשל (39) למנהל מרכזי הפיתוח של האתר בישראל. אשל הצטרף ליאהו כמפתח בשנת- 2014 ובמהלך עבודתו בחברה שימש גם כמנהל צוות במטה יאהו בקליפורניה במשך כ-4 שנים. במסגרת תפקידו אשל יפעל להרחבת המרכזים בישראל ולהרחבת פעילות המכירות מול מפרסמים מישראל. בימים אלה ממשיכה החברה במאמצי הגיוס לשורה של תפקידים במרכזים.
יאהו החלה לפעול בישראל בראשית העשור הקודם, לאחר שלאורך השנים ביצעה בישראל מספר רכישות של סטארטאפים ישראלים בתחומי הפרסום והווידיאו. ב-2017 יאהו נרכשה ע"י ורייזון, משרדי יאהו אוחדו עם AOL ופעילות שתי החברות אוחדה לחטיבה "ורייזון מדיה". אפולו גלובל, מחברות השקעות הגדולות בעולם, רכשה את ורייזון מדיה ב-2021 והשיבה לקדמת הבמה את המותג המוכר יאהו.
 
מרכז חברה נמצא בחיפה ומתמקד במחקר והמועסקים בו מחזיקים בתארים מתקדמים במדעי המחשב ואלגוריתמיקה. המרכז בתל-אביב מתמקד בפיתוח ומעסיק מהנדסים ומתכנתים המפתחים מוצרים בתחום הפרסום (Ad Tech), הווידיאו, וה-Data.
