בוועדת העבודה והרווחה נאמה היום סגנית שר האוצר מיכל וולדיגר ואמרה: "לא יכול להיות שרק אחרי חצי שנה יזמנו מתמודד נפש לוועדה שתבחן האם הוא זכאי לסל שיקום, בזמן הזה הוא כבר אבוד ופשוט נופל בין הכיסאות"

לצד הדיונים בכנסת על הרפורמה המשפטית, התקיימה היום (ב') גם ישיבה בוועדת העבודה והרווחה, אשר עסקה בין היתר גם בסל השיקום למתמודדי נפש. סגנית שר האוצר, מיכל וולדיגר, נאמה בוועדה והאירה על המצב האמיתי של מתמודדי הנפש כשזה מגיע למסעם לקבלת טיפול.
סגנית השר סיפרה: "פונים אליי הורים מיואשים שלא מקבלים סיוע שנדרש במידי בשל הבירוקרטיה המורכבת והסרבול. העבודה שאנחנו עושים בוועדה חשובה מאין כמותה כדי לסייע למי שגם ככה מתמודדים. זו העבודה האמיתית, בזה צריכים להתעסק, באזרחים השקופים שמשוועים לטיפול וסיוע".
עוד הוסיפה סגנית השר: "יש לנו עבודה רבה בדרך להסרת חסמים, לתיקוני חקיקה ולהקלת העול הבירוקרטי הכבד על הזכאים ובני משפחותיהם. כמו כן, עלינו לדאוג לתגבור כוח אדם, לפתיחת והנגשת מידע ושירותים. הנושא קרוב מאוד לליבי, ובכוונתי להיכנס לעובי הקורה כדי שהמתמודדים ימצו את זכויותיהם וישתלבו בחברה באופן מיטיבי. לא יכול להיות שרק אחרי חצי שנה יזמנו מתמודד נפש לוועדה שתבחן האם הוא זכאי לסל שיקום, בזמן הזה הוא כבר אבוד ופשוט נופל בין הכיסאות".
