בעקבות התחזיות הפסימיות: מניית פייזר צנחה ב-6.7%

בניגוד להלך הרוח בשוק האמריקאי אתמול, עם עליות ברוב הסקטורים, עם סגירת השוק מניית פייזר צנחה ב-6.72%, לאר שסיפקה תחזית פסימית לשנה הבאה

לאחר שצללה בעקבות הפרסום לפני מספר ימים על תופעות קשות הנגרמות לכאורה מאחד ממוצריה, מניית פייזר ירדה אתמול (רביעי) שוב באחוזים משמעותיים (6.72%), לאחר שספקה תחזית רווחים נמוכה מהצפוי לשנת 2024. זוהי הירידה היומית הגבוהה ביותר הגבוהה ביותר במניה מזה שנים רבות ושיא שלילי של פייזר מזה 10 שנים.
בחברת פייזר ככל הנראה לא העריכו נכונה את הביקוש שיהיה לחיסוני הקורונה עם סיום המגפה, ולאחר שהפכה החברה לסוג של מושיעה עולמית בזמן שהפאניקה שררה ברחבי העולם מהנגיף הלא מוכר. כאשר עדיין קיים החשש ממציאת וריאנטים חדשים לנגיף, פייזר עוד יכולה להרוויח מכמות החיסונים שייצרה אך כרגע היא די תקועה עם הכמויות האדירות.
בחברה ייאלצו למצוא מקורות הכנסה חדשים כדי להתגבר על התחזיות הנמוכות ולנסות לשנות את המגמה של מניית החברה, שכרגע נראה כי היא תתקשה להתרומם במצב הקיים בחברה. 
פייזר ככל הנראה לא העריכה נכון את הלך הרוח בקרב האנשים ברחבי העולם לגבי הקורונה. אמנם המגפה היממה את העולם והצליחה לשתק חלקים רבים בו לאורך זמן, אך כמו שהפאניקה החלה כך היא די עברה בקרב מרבית האנשים, ונראה שהיחס של הציבור לנגיף הוא דומה לזה של השפעת, וכך גם היחס של הציבור לחיסון מפניו.
