צוות של חדשות 13 הותקף באלימות קשה בזירת הפיגוע בשכונת נווה יעקב בירושלים: "לא רוצים אתכם פה, אתם רוצים בלאגן?"

בסוף השבוע האחרון מדינת ישראל הוכתה בתדהמה אחרי הפיגוע המזעזע מחוץ לבית הכנסת בשכונת נווה יעקב שבירושלים, בו נרצחו 7 יהודים ו-3 נוספים נפצעו. אתמול (שבת) בזירת הפיגוע, מתפרעים פרצו  לעמדת שידור של חדשות 13 ותקפו את הכתבים ואנשי הצוות.
המוחים השמיעו קריאות שונות, בהן "שמאלנים הביתה". בהמשך, המוחים הטיחו את שולחן השידור והכיסאות לקרקע, כשאחד מהם ניגש לצוות הצילום וצורח עליהם: "לא רוצים אתכם פה, אתם רוצים בלאגן?". חלק מהקריאות אף היו מסיתות והתייחסו ליועצת המשפטית לממשלה גלי בהרב-מיארה: "לנטרל את היועצת המשפטית לממשלה שמונעת פגיעה בטרור".
בנוסף לצוות השידור שהותקף, גם חבר הכנסת בני גנץ, זכה לקבלת פנים קשה כאשר עשרות תושבים, ברובם צעירים, שקראו לעברו קריאות נאצה ואף ניסו להגיע אליו פיזית. השוטרים והמאבטחים הגנו על גנץ בגופם, ורק בחסות האבטחה הוא הצליח לצאת מהמקום במכוניתו. 
ארגון העיתונאים והעיתונאיות בתגובה לתקיפת צוות חדשות 13: ״ההסתה וניסיונות הפגיעה בעיתונות מצאו את ביטוין הלילה בירושלים. הפעם זה נגמר במזל, ללא פגיעה בנפש, אולם בקלות, זה יכול בפעם הבאה, להגמר אחרת. אנו קוראים לממשלה ולכלל המערכת הפוליטית לפעול מיד להורדת גובה הלהבות ומפלס השנאה וההסתה בחברה הישראלית״.
