טסים לאירופה? בקרוב ישראלים יהיו מחויבים באישור כניסה מיוחד

היעדים הפופולריים ביותר בקרב ישראלים הם ללא ספק מדינות האיחוד האירופי השונות. אבל האם בקרוב זה הולך להשתנות? החל ממאי 2023 ישתנו כללי הכניסה למדינות האיחוד האירופי. ישראלים, כמו גם תושבים שאינם בעלי אזרחות אירופית, יידרשו לקבל אישור ETIAS (European Travel Information and Autorization System) על מנת להיכנס לאחת מ-26 המדינות החתומות על אמנת שנגן.
המהלך נועד להדק את הבקרה על הגבולות של אותן מדינות במטרה לשלוט בהגירה ובכניסות ויציאות בלתי חוקיות. מן הסתם, בעלי אזרחות אירופאית יוכלו להירשם מראש למערכת ה-ETIAS ולהזין בה את פרטי הדרכון שלהם על מנת לקבל אישור למעבר חופשי בין כל מדינות האיחוד.
לעומת זאת, מי שלא מחזיק בדרכון של אחת מהמדינות באזור שנגן יצטרך להגיש בקשת ויזה מראש בעלות של כ-10 יורו כדי להיכנס לאירופה. במקרה שתכננתם חופשה משפחתית, חשוב לשים לב שהאישור נדרש עבור כל אחד מבני המשפחה, גם אם לאחד ההורים יש דרכון אירופי לעומת השאר.
