העיתונאית הילה קובו עוזבת את אתר וואלה! NEWS לאחר 7 שנים במערכת. במהלך שנים אלו שימשה הילה במגוון תפקידי מפתח באתר, בהם מגישת חדשות, הובלת משדרים מיוחדים, עריכת המגזין הכתוב, עריכת תוכניות ספורט, כתיבת מאמרים ובימוי כתבות וידאו בערוצי המערכת השונים. טרם ידועה זהות המחליף/ה. 
"משתדלת להתרחק מקלישאות, אבל וואלה! NEWS הייתה באמת בית", אמרה קובו. "עשיתי כאן כל מה שחלמתי לעשות: הגשה באולפן, תכני דיגיטל, יצירה דוקומנטרית וכתיבה מגזינית. מודה למעין דגן, רחלי ורדי וקרן גזית, ולכל עורכי ועורכות העבר שאיפשרו לי לעשות את זה".  
"אני רוצה להודות להילה על המקצועיות, על המסירות ועל תרומתה הרבה לקידום תחום הווידאו באתר בפרט ולהצלחת וואלה! NEWS בכלל", אמר ראש מערכת החדשות, מעין דגן. "אני מאחל לה הצלחה רבה בהמשך דרכה המקצועית".
