מעיין אדם ילדה בסוף השבוע את בתה השנייה, קדם, אחות קטנה לתבור בת השנה ושלושה חודשים. בן זוגה של אדם ואב בנותיה, יובל צלנר, הוא אב גם לעמית (10), מנישואיו הקודמים לדפנה שחר. 
על הלידה של קדם סיפרה אדם: "גילינו שפיצי לא כזאת פיצית... אחרי הערכת המשקל ההמלצה הייתה לא לקחת סיכון בלידה רגילה וקבעו לי קיסרי. בכיתי שעות, אבל הפנמתי בסופו של דבר שמה שחשוב זה שהיא תצא בריאה. עד הרגע האחרון ניסיתי לתת לה צ'אנס לקחת את המושכות, אבל כנראה שככה זה היה צריך לקרות. וזה לא היה פחות מדהים ומרגש, וכמעט התעלפתי מאהבה".

על ההיריון הנוכחי גילתה אדם לאחר טרגדיה קשה שפקדה את משפחתה, כאשר אחותה הצעירה מפל אדם ז"ל נרצחה על ידי מחבלי חמאס ב-7 באוקטובר. מעיין ריגשה מדינה שלמה כאשר תיעדה כיצד היא ניגשת לקבר של אחותה, ומניחה עליו את בדיקת ההיריון החיובית. "באתי לספר לה, שתשמע ממני ישירות", אמרה.

על בחירת שמה של בתה, קדם, כתבה אדם: "קראנו לך על שמו של המפל הכי גבוה בישראל, לנצח הדבר הכי יפה ועוצמתי בטבע. יום אחד נספר לך מה קדם להגעתך, וכמה אפשרת לנו להסתכל קדימה. תודה שבאת לעולם הזה, עשית אותו טוב יותר. אוהבים אותך, המשפחה שכאן וזו למעלה".
