איקאה תפתח סניפים בקניונים? הרשת בהחלטה מפתיעה

הרעיון של הרשת הוא יצירה של מרחבי עבודה משותפים, מתחמי מזון וגני שעשועים מקורים שיביאו יותר מבקרים לקניונים וגם פתיחה של סניפי הרשת בהם. סינדי אנדרסן, מנהלת זרוע הנדל"ן של אינגקה, הסבירה: "אנשים מחפשים מקומות שמציעים הרבה יותר, לא רק קניות". בקרוב גם בישראל?

האם בקרוב נראה סניפים של איקאה גם בקניונים? החברה השבדית מהמפורסמות בעולם, אינגקה גרופ, שמפעילה את מרבית הסניפים בעולם, ביססה מתחילת העשור תעשייה משגשגת כאימפריית קניונים שפועלת בסין, בארצות הברית וגם באירופה ומתברר שהיא רוצה להרחיב את המודל.
הרעיון הוא יצירה של מרחבי עבודה משותפים, מתחמי מזון וגני שעשועים מקורים שיביאו יותר מבקרים לקניונים. סינדי אנדרסן, מנהלת זרוע הנדל"ן של אינגקה, הסבירה: "אנשים מחפשים מקומות שמציעים הרבה יותר, לא רק קניות".

על פי הדיווחים, לאינגקה יש כבר 38 קניונים ב-15 מדינות ברחבי הגלובוס, מספר שקטן ב-14 לעומת שנה שעברה, אז נאלצה לסגור שעריה ברוסיה כשהוחלט על הפסקת הפעילות שם על רקע המלחמה הנמשכת מול אוקראינה.
המהלך מגיע דווקא כשבארה"ב נרשמה בשנה שעברה ירידה של כ-4% בכמות המבקרים בקניונים, שהיתה נמוכה ב-12% לעומת 2019, אך המטרה היא שאיקאה בקניונים תביא להחייאה של הענף: "חל שינוי באופן בו הקניונים נתפסים, אנשים מחפשים מעין מרכז לייפסטייל, מקום להיפגש, ולא רק כדי לקנות דברים וללכת".
