חברת הפניקס דיווחה על הפסקת ניהול הביטוח הסיעודי עבור מכבי שירותי בריאות ועל פי הודעת הבורסה, חברת מנורה באמצעות חברת בת, תנהל את הביטוח של מכבי במקומה

חברת מנורה מבטחים דיווחה לבורסה בתל אביב כי היא מצויה בשלבים מתקדמים במשא ומתן, בנוגע לניהול הביטוח הסיעודי של מכבי שירותי בריאות. זאת לאחר שהפניקס הודיעה על ביטול השירות והפסקת ניהול הביטוח הסיעודי של מכבי.
על פי הודעה הבורסה, מנורה תנהל את הביטוח באמצעות חברת בת שלה וכעת היא בשלבים מתקדמים לקראת הסכם עקרונות לתקופה של שנה, עם אופציה להארכה, הסכם שיהווה בסיס להסכם מפורט יותר שצפוי להיחתם בתקופה הקרובה.
הביטוח הסיעודי הוא אחד הענפים שחווה את המכה הקשה ביותר בתקופה האחרונה ויש מי שבענף אומר שאם לא יינקטו הרשויות ומקבלי ההחלטות בצעדים פרקטיים ומיידיים, הענף יכול להגיע בתקופה הקרובה לקריסה.
המשבר בענף הביטוח הסיעודי לא נוצר אתמול וכבר בחודש יוני החל לתת אותותיו, אך טרם קיבל מענה מטעם משרדי הממשלה, משרד הבריאות והאוצר. הסיבה לחוסר הטיפול במשבר הביטוח הסיעודי של הקופה נובע מהעובדה כי משרד האוצר ומשרד הבריאות לא מצליחים להגיע לפתרון ממשי אשר מוסכם על שני הצדדים.
