שיקלי יוכל לחזור להתמודד; עמית סגל: "הצדק נעשה"

עמיחי שיקלי משך את עתירתו לבית המשפט ובתמורה יוכל להתמודד במפלגה קיימת בבחירות הקרובות. חברי הכנסת של הליכוד כבר מקבלים את פניו

חבר הכנסת עמיחי שיקלי החליט לקבל היום (ראשון) את הצעת הפשרה של בית המשפט. חבר הכנסת מימינה ימשוך את הערעור נגד ההכרזה עליו כפורש, ויתפטר מהכנסת. בעקבות כך, לא יינקטו נגדו סנקציות והוא יוכל לרוץ בבחירות הקרובות במפלגה קיימת.
על פי ההערכות שיקלי יתמודד במסגרת מפלגת הליכוד, וחברי הכנסת של המפלגה כבר מיהרו לקבל את פניו עת התקבלה הצעת הפשרה. "ברוך הבא שיקלי!!" כתב חבר הכנסת יואב קיש. גם חבר הכנסת לשעבר אורן חזן כתב, "שיקלי היקר, ברוך הבא אלינו הביתה לליכוד".

עיתונאי חדשות 12 עמית סגל הביע את דעתו על ההצעה שהתקבלה, בה שיקלי לא יכהן כח"כ עד הבחירות, ואמר, "גם אם באיחור, הצדק נעשה עם שיקלי. לא סביר שאדם שעמד על קיום הבטחת הבחירות יוכרז כפורש."
 
מצד שני, הסבירה הכתבת הפוליטית טל שניידר שהמצב יותר מורכב: "הפשרה של ח״כ שיקלי לא שווה הרבה. הוא לא נמצא בידיהם של חותמי הפשרה, אלא בידיו של יו״ר ועדת הבחירות אשר יקבע אם רוח החוק מולאה."
"מן הצד זה לא נראה לי כפשרה, ולכן התיוג של זה בחדשות הוא שגוי. צריך לנסח זאת כך: ח״כ משך את העתירה שלו כאשר הבין שאין לה הרבה סיכויים והוא עכשיו ינסה להתמודד לכנסת בניגוד לחוק. אולי יצליח." כבתה שניידר בטוויטר שלה.
